Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive parts sales growth aligned to parts business targets, KPIs, objectives, margins and profitability.
- Plan target achievement, profit margins, stock levels, orders, accessory sales, suppliers, back-order parts and obsolescent stock values.
- Provide and prepare parts budget inputs monthly and during reviews.
- Monitor, reduce and manage parts business operational costs across direct and indirect cost initiatives.
- Oversee and manage parts warehouse operation teams across outbound, inbound, inventory control and operations.
- Oversee parts order demand planning and ordering from factory and local suppliers.
- Ensure optimal fill rate, low backorders and effective supply of parts to the dealer network and customers.
- Oversee Parts Support teams to provide optimal technical and order support to the dealer network.
- Drive warehouse continuous improvement efficiencies including utilisation, peak capacity use, slotting and supply rates.
- Manage parts business readiness for new vehicle launches, including parts setup, pricing, ordering, accessory development and compliance.
- Manage local and overseas suppliers and relationships to improve business efficiencies and develop strategic partnerships.
- Develop dealer network parts business policy, profitability, and aftersales absorption and revenue growth.
- Provide internal support and guidance to Aftersales teams, including Customer Care, Technical Support, Warranty, Training, Procurement and Finance.
- Identify opportunities for new revenue streams, products, markets and channels to grow the parts business.
- Develop traditional and non-traditional business opportunities, products, ICE/EV sectors, products and services.
- Manage parts marketing and communications projects to drive parts sales demand.
- Maintain, develop and integrate parts business operating systems, ERP, WMS and parts electronic catalogue systems.
- Manage team performance, align teams to goals, measure performance and address non-performance.
- Provide training to staff and develop training programmes for staff and the dealer network.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers and industry associations to achieve parts business objectives.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 8-10 years' experience in automotive parts, warehousing, supply chain, or dealer operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, pricing, budgeting, and supplier management.
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems, OEM dealer operations, and cross-border parts distribution.
- Leadership experience managing teams and driving operational performance.
