PR and Brand Coordinator

Coordinate dealer marketing plans and claims, PR and Brand budgets, shopfitting elements, promotional materials, media test vehicles, and dealer brand compliance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Manager of PR and Branding.
  • Manage marketing support refunds.
  • Liaise with the marketing agency, and update and maintain negative-list platforms according to best practices to protect sentiment towards BAIC South Africa and its products.
  • Monitor digital platforms, including dealer social media, to ensure consistency between dealer and OEM marketing efforts.
  • Collect quarterly dealer marketing plans from all dealers.
  • Review, confirm, and follow up on dealer implementation.
  • Manage the annual PR and Branding budget and process payments.
  • Manage PR and Brand promotional materials.
  • Coordinate media test vehicles.
  • Manage data purchases and information updates related to Lightstone and TransUnion.
  • Assist and support the PR and Branding team with other administrative tasks.

Education and Experience

  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience within the automotive industry and knowledge of the South African automotive market.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.

  • Good problem-solving, persuasiveness, and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict management skills.
  • Good communication, planning, and organizational skills with strong execution.
  • Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
  • Ability to travel within South Africa when required.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint.
  • Code 8 driver's licence and own transport.
